The opportunity

We are looking for 2 highly skilled Works Interface Managers to be a part of our Technical & Project Services division at Roads & Maritime Services.

Reporting to the Senior Temporary Work Interface Manager, the primary focus of this role will be to provide technical and implementation advice on temporary works design and standards including the development of technical policy, standards and guidelines, and assessment and adoption of innovative technology.

Armed with exceptional collaboration, liaison and interpersonal skills, you find it easy to build strong working relationships. You will have critical strategic thinking ability with the ability to work independently. You are resilient and calm in the face of numerous changes and challenges of work pressure, a quick thinker and most importantly, a people’s person.

The salary for this position is RMS USS 10 ($120,223 - $131,383), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Essential requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering
  • Extensive experience in managing traffic through work zones and in and at worksites
