The role of the Workflow Application Developer is to participate in support and development activities for the AWD Support and Delivery Team

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing support for the workflow applications and ensuring any issues with the applications are resolved, and the application is available for business stakeholders

  • Coordinate technical changes with 3rd parties;

  • Contribute to the review and redesign of processes, on an ongoing basis, to deliver improved team productivity or efficiency;

  • Design, code, review, test and implement complex application changes

  • Source code management

  • Production incident / problem analysis & resolution

  • Develop / use tools to analyse performance impacts on service

  • Test case development / documentation

  • Preparation of relevant documentation

  • Manage and plan own work

To be considered you must have the following:

  • Previous experience within a Production Support Team or Development Team;
  • Experience supporting Workflow applications or experience supporting technical assets in the Superannuation industry
  • Good understanding of Agile Methodology
  • Exposure to AWS or Cloud technologies
  • Tertiary qualifications in Technology (Business Information Systems (Highly Desirable)

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Problem Solving/Troubleshooting Skills
  • Competent with SQL and database concepts
  • Build & automation, testing tools
  • Competent with Process Modelling and BPNM/Workflow
  • Good Understanding of JAVA code
  • Basic understanding/knowledge of Active Directory, Linux OS, Networking
  • Significant understanding of SDLC concepts
