The primary purpose of this role is to lead, coach and mentor the warehouse team members to ensure delivery against performance targets and warehousing best practices. Reporting to the Planning and Supply Superintendent this role will also provide competent forward planning that will ensure the availability of Commodities and Capital requirements for Work Management to complete their planned tasks through coordinating the actions of Purchasing, Inventory Management and Warehouse and Stock Administration. In addition, you will be responsible for managing the on-site and off-site repairs process through direct liaison with site planners, warehouse officers, purchasing and contracts personnel. As a positive team player with an unwavering attention to detail, your strong organisational, supervisory and leadership skills will be complemented with the ability to achieve deadlines while managing competing priorities. With highly developed interpersonal skills, you will have the capacity to quickly develop rapport with people at all levels and the skills to maintain direction as you build an agile and responsive team.

  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management in Supply,

Logistics or Materials Management or the equivalent warehouse experience

is desirable.

  • Demonstrated

leadership experience of a team in Warehousing, Material Maintenance or

Maintenance Planning / Coordination;

  • A

strong safety focus, team-oriented attitude with a continuous drive to

improve through utilisation of technology.

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining warehouse

procedures

  • An

in depth knowledge of the Inventory Management strategies, process and

execution;

  • Commitment to outstanding customer service and

demonstrated understanding of SAP, or similar integrated application that

applies to Warehousing operations is essential.

  • A working knowledge of hazardous materials regulations

will be highly regarded
