Better Risk Outcomes Program (BROP) is a new program to address our risk management weaknesses, strengthen our overall management of risk, and ensure we exceed our regulatory and compliance obligations. It’s a business-wide program that will strengthen our people, policies, processes and systems.
Over the last two weeks we have all seen the confronting cases presented at the Royal Commission where our customers have been treated unfairly by us. Our deficiencies relating to Financial Crimes have also been under the microscope since last August, and in a few weeks, APRA will release its findings into our governance, culture and accountability practices.
