The Company’s operations currently involve an integrated system of seven inland mines, more than 1,000 kilometres of rail and two separate port facilities; Nelson Point and Finucane Island at Port Hedland.

We are seeking a diverse and talented individual to take on this key role in our business ensuring we have safe and effective maintenance contributing to high plant equipment availability. Reporting to the Superintendent Infrastructure Services, you will lead the Lifting Services team within the Fixed Plant Maintenance Department ensuring safe and efficient operations in lifting, rigging and scaffolding amongst others.

As a Supervisor for the infrastructure facilities your duties include (but are not limited to); Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, ensure compliance with the requirements of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations, oversee OEMs and all other contractors, to ensure all tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner, coordinate all required work assistance with breakdowns across our fixed plant, mining and mobile assets and respond according to priority, participate in the weekly pre-planning, planning and scheduling meetings and required shutdown meetings to ensure alignment and commitment of resources to the work schedule, ensure safe execution of maintenance work as required. In this role you will demonstrate a personal commitment to continuous improvement through the supervision of the multi trades maintenance team, ensuring the optimal utilisation of all resources through effective management of labour use and materials.

To be successful in this role you must have a maintenance crane and lift planning industry background in a large scale minerals processing environment with advanced experience preferred. Strong stakeholder/customer engagement skills and the ability to build relationships across workgroups.

With a focus on availability, reliability and quality maintenance, your technical strengths will be complemented by well-developed communication skills. A current equivalent Western Australian Driver’s Licence is a requirement of this role.

Location

You will be based at our 'Yandi' mine on a fly-in fly-out 2 weeks on 1 week off roster. Yandi is located approximately 170kms North of Newman West Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, squash, tennis and basketball courts, golf driving range, mini golf, netted cricket pitch, beach volleyball court and recreation room. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, internet, refrigerator and air-conditioning.Supporting a Diverse Workforce
