Come and be a part of this success.We are seeking three Superintendents for Engineering Modifications and Projects to support Project Delivery across our Yandi, Port and Non-Process Infrastructure/WAIO Maintenance (water, camps, aviation, power and fixed plant) teams. Reporting to the associated Engineering Manager these roles will be responsible for overseeing the capital portfolio, ensuring effective project controls for safety, cost and schedules are in place in order to plan, develop, communicate and execute project work. These influential roles will require the ability to communicate and engage diverse stakeholder groups while leading, coaching and mentoring employees to deliver projects in accordance with the Small Projects Management Framework.We have a strong focus on finding candidates with an inclusive approach to leadership, exemplary communication skills and critical thinking skills. Your exceptional stakeholder engagement will foster a collaborative approach to working. In addition to demonstrated leadership capability, you will have experience in Project Management with the ability to communicate effectively across disciplines and organisational levels to create buy-in and influence outcomes being highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience within a leadership position, preferably within the Mining, Civil or Construction Industry- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project delivery processes, financial assessment and project tracking/reporting- Current full West Australian “C” class motor vehicle license
- Resource industry and site based experience- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent proven industry and/or organisational experience will be advantageous - Proven capability or certification in Project Management
Whilst a 5/2, 4/3 is the standard roster for these roles, candidates in pursuit of flexible work arrangements are encouraged to apply. BHP supports a flexible work environment and as such, rosters are negotiable.
