Utilise your extensive mine design skills in this busy and challenging short-term mine planning role. This role will see you develop effective working relationships with the operational and short-term planning teams, based on site, in order to ensure the efficient execution of plans and designs. Working a 8/6 roster, you will be dedicated to our Daunia mine site. This is a great opportunity to hone your mine planning skills as you gain exposure to a new operation and unique pit challenges as well as see the results of work as your pit is worked through. You will also have access to a results-oriented, energetic and supportive leader and team.
You will be a tertiary qualified Mine Engineer with significant experience in Truck & Shovel and Drill & Blast scheduling and designing. A strong working knowledge of Vulcan is essential and exposure to Deswik, Xact, BlastLogic and BlastPlan are ideal, but not mandatory. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across all forms of technology will ensure your success in this role, as will your ability to work as part of a close-knit team and your motivation to produce high quality work and exceed your work and personal goals.
