We are currently looking for an Analysis and Improvement Specialist Electrical (Reliability) in our Fixed Plant Maintenance team to provide specialist support to the maintenance execution function.
Reporting to the A&I Superintendent Mine Maintenance this role will help ensure continuous improvement within the mechanical fixed plant area, including working with execution on improvement projects and assisting in building the improvement portfolio. In this role you will: -
Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day. -
Implement maintenance work plans to validate the integrity of plant, equipment and infrastructure -
Create and optimise maintenance work strategies for the area -
Provide advice on defect elimination processes, and help identify improvement opportunities. -
Updates maintenance procedures, work instructions and control systems coding where relevant.
Provide input in to the training matrix for the Fixed Plant team -
Build cross-functional relationships with other Analysis & Improvement sub-functions
Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way. -
2-5 years’ experience within mining, ideally with underground exposure -
Trade Qualified or engineering degree preferred -
Need to have solid planning and analysis background and skills -
Must have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise -
Need to be safety minded, with proven ability to demonstrate HSEC behaviours -
Be a team player, but also be able to work effectively unsupervised and be highly self-motivated -
Ability to communicate well across multiple levels and disciplines
