CS Energy is a Queensland energy company that has more than 450 employees, operates three power stations and has a trading portfolio of 4,035 megawatts. CS Energy's core business is the generation and sale of electricity in the National Electricity Market, dispatching more than 35 per cent of Queensland's electricity output.
As the Site Finance Manager, you will be responsible for adding value to the Kogan Creek Power Station and mine through strong leadership of financial aspects of the site. The ongoing attainment of this objective will be achieved by applying ‘best practice’ financial planning and control processes, regulatory control, financial performance analysis, and resource allocation.
The role will also support and influence site commercial decision making. This is to be achieved directly by involvement with the various identified stakeholders to implement value add processes and, indirectly through training our people to make economically sound decisions.

While this role is located on site at Kogan Creek Power Station, we are willing to discuss options for DIDO or similar arrangement. We also offer flexible working arrangements and excellent remuneration packages.
You will have extensive experience in accounting, financial analysis and a demonstrated commercial acumen. You will also have the ability to articulate complex issues concisely and to a diverse range of audiences.
A natural leader, you will be open to change and have a proven track record in achieving results whilst leading a team.
Our preferred candidate will likely come from a heavy industry background, and have demonstrated success in facilitating organisational change and development of a continuous improvement culture.
