As a Senior Security Sales Specialist you'll work to understand and deliver leadership messages, contribute to the effectiveness of work groups through strong leadership and effective personal behaviours, form and lead virtual teams as and when required and set the business unit standards in terms of business ethics and integrity.
Revenue and sales accountability will also be a focus for you, together with the responsibility for increasing awareness and pipeline for Telstra's Security offerings in the marketplace by engaging directly with key accounts in conjunction with Account Executives. You'll liaise with Solutions Architects to ensure appropriate solution scope and NAS and product management to ensure delivery of best in class solutions.
You'll be involved in the cultivation of ongoing relationship management with key Security stakeholders and C-Level executives in the customer base. Working with internal stakeholders you'll determine the most appropriate solution for the customer's environment and recommend changes to the existing portfolio based on customer feedback, and you'll be a key player in the relationship between Telstra and the CISO/CRO.
It is important that you can soundly demonstrate the following:
- Experience in selling security services (desirable)
- Previous experience working in complex or matrix managed sales environments
- Evidence of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrable experience working with C-Level stakeholders
- Previous experience of getting to the heart of customer needs, both recognised and unrecognised
- Experience regarding leading edge and innovative solution design, development and delivery
- Strong functional knowledge of financial and commercial policies and practices and the impact these elements have on the organisation and market in which they operate
- Evidence of contribution towards and implementation of continuous improvement programs
