As the Senior Product Manager, you will lead the product ownership of VAS (Value Added Services) within the Migration and Disconnections (M&D) function. The VAS portfolio includes specialised products and services that improve the nbn migration experience, catering for the differing needs of various population groups, organisations and applications. The purpose of the team is to develop, maintain and drive the nbn approach and implementation for VAS, including end to end ownership of the ‘product and service’ sets and development of strong industry relationships. Your role includes driving consultation with key industry stakeholders (including external application service providers (ASPs), business stakeholder groups and industry stakeholder groups) to support delivery of nbn’s commercial objectives and improve the customer and end user experience.

Your role is also responsible for ideation through to delivery of programs, services and process improvements to deliver a migration experience for these end users that reflects the nbn value of “We Care”. As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the strategy and innovation roadmap for VAS, to enhance the value derived from the nbn network and customer experience for the EUs along with results tracking /reporting and driving business process excellence

You will work with the M&D team as well as a broader virtual team across a range of nbn divisions, including Marketing, IT, Contact Centre and other nbn teams and will directly manage sensitive internal and external stakeholder relationships including producing briefings and advice for senior management, Shareholder Ministers, manage cases escalated from the Minister and other senior executives, and may require representation of nbn at large scale events in relation to key ASP focus areas.

A bit about your role

As the Senior Product Manager, you will be accountable for:

  • Product management and development for VAS portfolio including strategic approach, innovation roadmap, customer experience improvement.
  • Implementation of product developments and product improvement programs for VAS
  • Development and management of the processes that form part of the VAS offerings
  • Reporting and analytics associated with the portfolio
  • Develop policy and strategy for VAS related products
  • Develop and deploy Industry Engagement Framework and work with external organisations, to drive M&D deliverables
  • Act as the SME on M&D programs of work

A bit about you

You will come with solid product management experience gained through end to end ownership of portfolio of products in a risk mitigation space dealing with sensitive end users in a complex organization. To be successful in this role, you will come with demonstrated stakeholder management experience and ability to professionally engage with, present to, influence and persuade senior stakeholders.

Tertiary level qualification is mandatory.
