A fantastic opportunity has presented itself to join nbn as a Head of Organisational Design. In this role, you will be leading the Organisational Design team to drive people strategic imperatives and ensure achievement of business results. You will be accountable for developing and designing organisational structures that meet emerging business needs and long-term strategic imperatives whilst ensuring effective adoption of services.
Your excellent leadership ability, strong commercial acumen and pragmatic mind-set will set you up for success in this busy and varied role. Strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills will be necessary as this role will have you working with a wide variety of stakeholders which include partnering up with the HR Business Partners to liaising with C-level management. In addition to your strong consultative skills, you will also be comfortable and confident in group facilitation environments. Agility, flexibility and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines and changing business needs, will drive your success in this role.
A bit about your role
Outlined below are the core duties that the Head of Organisational Designwill be responsible for delivering:
- Building methodologies and practices for organizational design that ensure adoption by business leaders
- Coaching, providing advice and capability support to key stakeholders in HR and the business for the successful application of the organisational design framework
- Providing overall thought leadership, including scanning best practices and benchmarking to bring the most progressive thinking to the group
- Establishing operational governance mechanisms for the pipeline of organisational design projects
- Enhancing operational excellence of the Organisational Design function and providing the function with leadership and management
A bit about you
You may be a Senior HR Manager, Organisational Design Leader or within a similar role and are looking for your next career move. Your resume will display proven experience in leading organisational design teams within large and complex organisations as well as successful delivery in organisational-wide design projects that deliver capability and change improvements. In addition, you will also have demonstrated expertise in designing and supporting organisational restructuring.
As an innovative and fearless leader, you are not only driven but also possess a passion for people and understand how to motivate and coach not only your team, but also the wider business who will need your support. You are capable of working autonomously but also value collaboration and the delivery of results to executive business initiatives and manage its needs.
