Credit risk represents the largest risk facing the Group. This newly created team will assist management and the Board to thoroughly understand the end to end credit process.
The Credit Assurance team will be integral in meeting our regulatory obligations that require the Board and senior management to oversee key credit processes.

Credit Assuranceis a newly established team accountable for Line 2 oversight of the end to end credit process. This includes assurance over policy, process, credit decisions (including BU credit hindsight processes), models and reporting.
Credit Governance will cover both retail and non-retail portfolios across the Group.
Credit Assurance will work closely with the Policy and Portfolio teams to assist in delivering best in class policies, frameworks and reporting.
