The role

Reporting to Fran Rush this role will see you working on a broad range of high-profile structured and asset-based financing matters, including a particular focus on aircraft, ships, vehicles and other equipment financing.

The successful candidate will work with major corporate, bank, asset and fleet financier clients across and other financial services clients in relation to asset structuring, finance and leasing and structured property projects. There is also an opportunity to work with Commonwealth and State Government clients to develop innovative private sector finance structures for infrastructure and strategic assets.

The role will involve assisting clients to develop structures that meet risk allocations and drafting and documenting bespoke transactions.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 6 years' post admission experience within a banking and financial services practice, with particular focus on asset-based financing.
  • A sound understanding of Australian personal property securities law.
  • A strong client service focus and an exceptional work ethic
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, required for building internal and client relationships and maintaining a positive team environment
