The Centre for Crop and Disease Management (CCDM) is a national research centre co-supported by Curtin University and the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). Launched in 2014, the centre’s major aim is to reduce the economic impact of crop disease for Australian growers.

Your new role 

An exciting opportunity exists for a Research Associate, your role will contribute to the Statistics for the Australian Grains Industry (SAGI) Western Node research program funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation under the direction of John Curtin Distinguished Professor, Adrian Baddeley. The main purpose of this position is to support biometrics for the WA grains industry across an agreed range of research themes.

You will bring to this role
  • An honours qualification in mathematical sciences is essential. A PhD relevant to the grains industry would be looked upon favourably.

The salary ranges presented are those which are contained within the University's Enterprise Agreements; as are the employee benefits which include employer superannuation contribution at the rate of the current Government Superannuation Guarantee amount up to 17 percent, study assistance, a comprehensive salary packaging and wellness programs and flexible and family friendly work practices.
