ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Part time, full time, permanent and short term contracts considered

  • Rotational Roster including Birthing Suite, Maternity Assessment Unit, Pregnancy Day Stay and Postnatal with potential to include Antenatal Clinic, Parent Education and Maternity in the Home

  • Opportunity for autonomous practice within a supportive multidisciplinary team

  • Extensive Education support to assist consolidating & expanding your midwifery skills

  • Visa sponsorship available for successful applicants

  • We are working towards implementation of MGP and specialised culturally appropriate Antenatal Clinics

  • Salary is in line with the Enterprise Agreement and will be based on your years of experience (hourly base rate between $30.3132 - $39.9658)

ABOUT YOU:

  • AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife

  • Evidence of recent RANZCOG attendance

  • Proven time management, organisational skills and a team player

  • Expertise and experience in Antenatal, Intrapartum and Postnatal Care

  • Flexibility to work all shifts including night duty

  • 32 km South West of Melbourne’s Business District

  • Direct freeway access and walking distance from Hoppers Crossing train station

  • Parking onsite at a reasonable fee

  • Dedicated Obstetric Theatres staffed 24hrs, 7 days per week

  • Level 4 SCN, accepting admissions from 32 weeks

  • Strong support from Allied Health and Lactation Consultants

  • Adult Intensive Care Unit newly opened
