About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced recruiting professional to be part of our Regional Recruitment team. This role will be based at one of our WA locations.

Alcoa has long recognised that the strength of its business is related to its focus on attracting and retaining a talented diverse workforce. The prime objective of this position is to provide timely and effective recruitment services to our business and to continue the development of best practice recruitment strategies, including attraction and talent sourcing.

The Recruitment Consultant is required to maintain national process consistency, ensure a fair process is conducted, assist with strategies for external competitiveness and utilise technology in the assessment and delivery of services. Additionally, you will be a part of the wider HR team for your site and our WA operations, often supporting other HR initiatives to ensure best practice delivery HR to our business.

You will be able to demonstrate effective recruitment sourcing expertise in previous roles and present as professional, personable and with outstanding communication, team and organisation skills. Experience in HR particularly recruitment, is essential, and tertiary qualifications are desirable.

About where you will work

Alcoa of Australia’s recruitment team supports all locations, those in Western Australia include Booragoon head office, Peel regional office, Huntly and Willowdale Bauxite Mine, Bunbury and Kwinana Port and the three Alumina refineries located at Kwinana, Pinjarra and Wagerup.
