Come and be a part of this success.This high profile role will see you motivate and lead your team to safely deliver and achieve production, rate and compliance targets, as well as driving productivity improvements and cost reductions.  As the Manager Production you will provide leadership and direction to achieve Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), cost and volume performance, through the effective execution and analysis of production activities.

You will lead a team of Superintendents and their direct reports. This position will enable you to use your technical experience and leadership skills to coach and mentor your team, drive best practice and truly make a difference to operational performance. You will be a key decision maker and have strong influence in regards to how the mine is run. Working with a collaborative, performance-oriented Managers you will also have access to excellent career and personal development opportunities in this role.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing input to the mine plan, objectives and budget, driving performance and implementation accordingly.
  • Driving the consistent expectations, understanding and application of Production processes to enable compliance with Group Level Documents (GLD) and local requirements.
  • Identifying, building and developing Production talent and capability, including a pipeline of talent for key positions.
  • Driving organisation, cultural and innovation change for the broader group.
  • Reducing the material risk exposure for Production and verifying material risk critical controls are appropriately designed, deployed and effective.

You will have substantial experience in a leadership role and have significant experience to heavy industry environments, have had operational experience or motivation to be exposed to this area.

You will utilise your strategic and analytical mind, as well as your excellent business acumen to coach your team in order to drive productivity improvements and cost reduction.  You must be a strong change agent.
