As part of the HFC Network Engineering team, the Planning Engineer – HFC Plant will have the opportunity to lead and manage the Planning phase for Network Engineering Standards (NES) and Network Engineering Consulting Service (NECS) customer work requests as well as lead the Document Management of Network Engineering Standards.
As the Planning Engineer – HFC Plant, you will oversee the approval process for new HFC Plant equipment with the incumbent network operator and provide regular process reporting to the HFC leadership team.
Please note, this is a 24 month fixed term opportunity. Although your contract will have an end date, you will enjoy the full advantages of permanent employment.
A bit about your role
In this position of Planning Engineer – HFC Plant, some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Perform Network Engineering Standards (NES) & Network Engineering Consulting Services (NECS) ticket triage, run Governance and Review forums, and perform Planning administration.
- Maintain Network Engineering Standards (NES) Document Register and manage document release process
- Provide Network Engineering Standards (NES) & Network Engineering Consulting Services (NECS) metrics reporting.
- Manage Alternative Material Requests (AMRs) with the incumbent.
A bit about you
To be suitable for this position, ideally you will have demonstrated experience in applying and refining processes, you will be able to analyse complex business problems and plan technical solutions and able to write both technical and business documents.
From your previous experience you will have a deep knowledge of business process improvement through the use of the Business Process Excellence and able to engage a range of different stakeholder groups to obtain consensus and agreement of architecture and design proposals.
