Who we are

Minter Ellison is a top tier South Australian law firm with a reputation for excellence in client services and innovation in the market.

Our culture

At MinterEllison, our people are our brand.  Every day, every person in our firm plays a vital role in helping clients to close deals, find solutions, resolve disputes, grasp opportunities and create value.  We are a friendly and supportive firm that takes pride in our work, our individual and collective achievements, our clients' success, and our strong reputation in the marketplace.

The opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join our property team to assist with a wide range of leasing based tasks. The role would suit an experienced paralegal who is able to handle and manage high volume and high quality commercial leasing work.

You will work closely with one of the partners as well as with our lawyers and other paralegals to service a range of clients. You will be responsible for processing and progressing clients' leases and liaising and interfacing directly with clients and their agents.

What you need

Ideally successful candidates would have a background in commercial leasing work.  A pre-existing understanding of applicable legislation dealing with tenant's rights and general property law principles is desirable, but not essential.  But you must have:

  • a strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients and industry experts
  • ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own
  • pride in your work and who you work for
  • advanced computer literacy
  • a high level of attention to detail.

What we offer

Being part of a large top-tier law firm you will benefit from the support provided by our Shared Services and support teams who are always available to assist.

We offer a range of highly competitive staff benefits including a very active social committee, health and well-being programs, opportunities to be involved in pro bono and community initiatives, and many training opportunities through a dedication to the development of our staff.
