About the Role
Based in Central Queensland’s Bowen Basin; BMA’s Moranbah Airport is offering the unique opportunity for suitably qualified Aerodrome Reporting Officers/Work Safety Officers (ARO/WSO) to fill a number of recently created positions for both female and male candidates.
As an ARO/WSO at Moranbah you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of the Airport’s movement areas ensuring all critical infrastructure is serviceable to cater for both RPT and Charter operations.
You will use your sound knowledge of regional Airport Operations to safely and effectively perform the role of an ARO/WSO whilst maintaining regulatory compliance through your familiarity with Aviation Legislation, Standards and Codes.
Your demonstrated ability to utilise mechanical equipment will ensure all grounds maintenance targets are met with all undertaken works completed safely and as per process
We require outcome-orientated self-motivated individuals who are looking to join a high-functioning team with an uncompromising commitment to safety.
Nationally Recognised ARO Qualification or the ability to obtain;
Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or the ability to obtain;
Aircraft Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) or the ability to obtain;
C Class Drivers Licence;
Experience with computer based systems such as SAP, MS Office Suite and other online reporting programs;
5 years’ experience in a similar Aviation role (highly desired);
Certificate III in Aviation (highly desired).
A team player with strong interpersonal skills capable of effectively working with people at all levels of the organisation;
Self-disciplined with a proactive approach to your work/time management and the ability to prioritise;
A desire to learn and continuously develop both personally and professionally;
Safety focussed and committed to a Zero Harm culture.
