In your new position as a Team Leader you will be responsible for achieving operational and performance measures and targets ensuring a positive customer experience in the technical Assurance space. Specifically, you will develop and manage resources to manage agreed resource plans and workload requirements for which we have the accountability to offer.
Largely you will work on the resolution of service incidents, managing escalations both internally and externally, and implementing and embedding business processes and assuring high adoption rates. Overall you will drive a high level of technical leadership to your team in the form of a Subject Matter Expert.
As this is a leadership position you will provide fluid and regular communication to team members, management and stakeholders through team meetings, 1:1’s and coaching sessions. We are looking for someone who can support a team and ensure they upskill and grow into a dynamic team that champions change and have a specific Customer Centric focus.
Please note, this is a 24 month fixed term opportunity.

The largest focus of your role will be ensuring customer commitments are met through compliance to company principles, standards, systems, practices and procedures.
You will work on:
- Managing and improving the performance and development of direct reports
- Develop a culture which values open, supportive and collaborative contributions
- Analysing issues in relation to building and improving capabilities and effectiveness
- Use influential and negotiation skills to match organizational needs for our customers
A bit about you
As a Team Leader you will be an effective communicator and confident in conflict resolution. We will be looking for someone who drives staff motivation and engagement during times of high work volumes and constant change.
You should also be comfortable with change – nbn is a fast moving organization with a lot of change and new challenges every day. We think it’s great, but understand it’s not for everyone.
