We are currently seeking a Network Asset Information and Reporting Manager to lead a team of technical specialists in our Network Intelligence branch.

The Role:

The Network Asset Information and Reporting Manager will set data and information standards and strategies for network asset data, develop processes to ensure optimum data quality, and ensure the reliability of data for analysis and business intelligence.  They will manage and support a team of technical specialists to maintain and improve the quality, integrity and validity of data in the network asset systems and drive analytics and insight using network asset data.

The Person:

The Network Asset Information and Reporting Manager will hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and/or be able to demonstrate capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications.  Additional qualifications in spatial information services and project/program management are highly desirable.

We are seeking a strong leader with experience in strategic and operational management of asset management data and information, project management experience, and knowledge of asset management practices and standards preferably in the electricity distribution industry. Further experience in strategic planning to develop and implement complex initiatives and programs towards business sustainability and optimal commercial outcomes is highly desirable.  You will have an underpinning knowledge of Information Technology and software systems and applications, with an extensive understanding of AMS and GIS data structures and database concepts.  You will possess professional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to build collaborative working relationships across all levels of the business and externally.  You will have excellent written and verbal skills and, exceptional time management and prioritisation skills, and be proficient in computer operations, business systems and tools including Python, C/C++ and SQL.
