Our Leinster based operation is currently seeking a suitably experienced Mine Surveyor to join the underground survey team. As part of the technical services team, you will demonstrate effective work planning, as built QA/QC data management and compliance to business processes/systems. Reporting to the Senior Surveyor this role provide services to the Leinster underground operation. Services are provided in a safe and timely manner to facilitate production activities to the standards set by BHP Management in accordance to regulatory specifications.As the ideal candidate you will have:

  • A current Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate Grade 1 or ability to obtain one;
  • Competency in Leica Total stations, Optech CMS, C-ALS, Gyro and mobile laser scanner equipment;
  • A high level of technical ability, data management, planning and organisation skills;
  • Experience with Vulcan, Supac or Deswik software;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal; and
  • A current manual WA Drivers license is required and a Senior First Aid ticket is highly regarded.
