The Position…

The Engineering Services Group is responsible for waste management, road repairs, street cleaning, bridge maintenance, graffiti and street art, stormwater management, streetlight repairs, local traffic management, street trading, security services, integrated asset management, corporate transport, on-street parking management, permits for busking and outdoor dining and emergency management

The Engineering Services branch consists of over 70 employees and provides leading edge engineering solutions for the people of Melbourne and delivers services to enhance the city's infrastructure to the highest levels of safety, amenity, mobility and accessibility.

The objective of the Manager of this branch is to provide leadership and direction in the professional and technical management and provision of engineering and technical services and manage a multimillion dollar budget that reflects the needs of the City long term.

The Manager Engineering Services is responsible for leading and managing six service areas within the branch in collaboration with the Principal Engineers and Team Leaders of the service areas who directly report to this position.
