The Group Data Office is accountable for developing Group’s data strategy, data policy & standards, governance and set requirements for data enablers/tools. The team is also accountable for facilitating a community of practitioners to share best practice and build data and analytics talent and capabilities.
The Strategy & Operations team within the Group Data Office is primarily accountable for developing and monitoring progress against the Group’s data management strategy, enhancing data management capabilities among data practitioners, and fostering greater awareness across the Group. The team is also accountable for managing the risk and finances of the Group Data Office.

About your role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Operations, and as a member of the Group Data Office you will play a key role in supporting the development of the Group’s data management strategy and partnering with Business Units and Support Units to monitor progress.
You will also have primarily responsibility to manage the Group Data Office finance requirements.
Specifically, you will (i) assist with the development (and ongoing refinement) of the Group’s data management strategy, (ii) assist in monitoring progress against strategy against articulated milestones and influencing key stakeholders (as required) to meet targets, (iii) assist with the effective governance and reporting to governance Councils/Committees, and (iv) and manage the Group Data Office budgeting and finances.
