Due to a large growth phase at Olympic Dam, we have an exciting opportunity to welcome several Project Managers and Project Engineers to our dynamic team. Our available positions take a lead role in the management of development and delivery of assigned projects from definition (DPS) phase through execution in accordance with statement of requirements, safety, quality, and funding commitments for cost and schedule.

In this role you will:

  • Manage and lead

project Definition (DPS) phase of assigned projects to ensure a value

optimised business case has been identified, with a focus on safety,

quality, schedule, cost, and capital efficiency

  • Support Study Lead

in development of execution deliverables for earlier phases of development

  • Manage and lead

project Execution phase (EXE) of assigned projects to ensure funding

commitments are met in safety, quality, cost and schedule

  • Pro-actively manage

project safety by ensuring the team are meeting/exceeding field leadership

targets, identifying leading indicators and trends, assist with solving

potential safety issues/trends and prevent them from re-occurring.

  • Lead the

identification and management of risks, and communicate these risks to

relevant stakeholders and identify solutions.

  • Provide guidance to

Area Manager on material risk management and relevant mitigating actions

  • Complete both

weekly and monthly reports including safety statistics, schedule and

budget progress, achievements, project risks and concerns on relevant

project portfolio

  • Manage stakeholder

involvement in the development and delivery of a project\program of

projects

  • Be first and

foremost focused on creating a culture of care by being a visible safety

leader, engaging, developing and coaching your team

  • Relationship

focused, with excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Degree qualified in

engineering or equivalent

  • Project Management

qualifications an asset

  • Proven experience

in a Project Lead/Manager, Project Engineering, or Field Engineering role

working through a project lifecycle

  • Highly developed

analysis and decision making skills

  • Driven, and

self-motivated to achieve objectives

  • Demonstrate the

confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and

coach others in ‘Safety Leadership’
