The primary purpose of this role is management and controlling of the inventory processes that will ensure the availability of Commodities (Goods) at minimal Total Operating Costs and participation This is a great opportunity to run this role with agility and flexibility to make the role your own. The role also entails but is not limited to:
  • Management of an Inventory Controller
  • Inventory and Warehouse process knowledge, adherence improvement and governance
  • Participation in Supply team Performance Management and team Goal setting
  • Customer Relationship Management, specifically including line expectations/execution with inventory and warehouse process requirements
  • Identification and execution of Routine and Improvement works
  • Influence change in the Supply, Maintenance and Asset Integrity departments and to improve the overall effectiveness of stakeholder interactions
  • Optimisation of working capital


  • Strong knowledge of the Procure to Pay process, Inventory Management strategies, process and execution and experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not a must
  • Advanced Excel skills are strongly desirable
  • An understanding of Maintenance & Shutdown Planning functionality
  • Project management & commercial acumen would be ideal
  • Effective presentation and communication skills in order to influence at all levels
  • Formal qualification in a Supply / Business discipline or equivalent work experience is desirable
