The Investments team has grown rapidly and the internal teams now directly invest more than 20% of members’ funds. The way the team invests continues to evolve as we seek to make the most of our scale, ongoing growth and an increasingly global footprint. The newly created Investment Capability team reports to the CIO and leverages a ‘one portfolio’ view of the Investments team to deliver recommendations on key strategic issues to senior stakeholders, drive the development of cross-team investment capabilities and lead a coordinated approach to the development of our global networks.

Here’s where you come in…

Working collaboratively with your colleagues across the Investments team the Investment Manager – Investment Capability will deliver high quality research and analysis to inform on key strategic issues. You will identify and develop opportunities to advance core front-office capabilities in support of strategic objectives. You will support the development of a co-ordinated approach to our global networks, including how we engage, co-ordinate and share insights from our relationships.

You’ll need…

A proven track record of applying strong analytical skills and sound judgement to make investment recommendations with a leading financial institution, fund manager or corporate. You will be an independent thinker with a demonstrated ability to structure and resolve complex problems. You will have strong relationship building skills. You will be an effective communicator and have experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes.
