We have a comprehensive track record in all forms of information and communications technology, data protection and privacy, competition and consumer law, sales and marketing and complex commercial contracting.
We are seeking a junior to mid-level Lawyer to work with our engaging and highly experienced team, and alongside three Partners Paul McLachlan, Alex Hutchens and Matthew McMillan. You will advise a broad range of clients including telecommunications providers, software and IT vendors, financial services organisations, cybersecurity companies, health providers and resource and utility companies, as well as public sector clients, and will provide ongoing advisory services across telecommunications, electricity and other regulated industries. You will be exposed to a variety of quality matters and transactions, such as major IT procurements and telecommunications services agreements, and will advise on a wide range of matters including regulatory, access and contractual matters, competition issues, and all legal aspects of sales and marketing, including consumer protection obligations and product safety.
The successful candidate will ideally be a Lawyer with approximately 2-4 years PAE with demonstrated experience working in a commercial, competition or technology practice. You will possess a strong background and interest in one or more areas of technology, data protection, privacy, FMCG and consumer law. Further study in any of these areas will also be highly regarded. Together with your commercial experience and strong drafting and technical skills, you will have a natural ability and desire to build strong client relationships and be passionate about building your career in the area.
