The South Australian Equipment Service’s team are seeking an experienced and customer focussed trade professional to join their team. Based in either Port Augusta or Whyalla, this role offers a great opportunity for anyone wanting to join a market leader delivering service levels that exceed customer expectations.
As a Service Technician, you will be the primary technician for this region which covers from Whyalla up to Roxby Downs, Coober Pedy in the north and west along the coast to Streaky Bay. You will be part of a broader equipment services team based both in Adelaide and regionally throughout South Australia.
Our Equipment Services Team is made up of motivated and highly skilled tradespeople working together to set a new standard in delivering responsive, efficient and effective service, repair, fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and Quality Assurance across a range of cold drink equipment, refrigeration, post-mix units, vending and coffee machines – ensuring we are continually exceeding customers’ expectations.
Not your everyday field service job. This goes one step further than just servicing the equipment. By taking ownership, being involved and proactive, you’ll use initiative to recognise opportunities for improvement and generate ideas to ensure we continue to deliver world class service.
You will hold either a refrigeration trade qualification or electrical trade qualification or be from an appliance repair background which would include a current restricted electrical licence.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Confident communication & interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality and safe work practices
- Customer service-oriented attitude
- Possession of current driver’s licence
- Relevant Refrigeration or Electrical Trade Qualifications
- An ability to work on an on-call roster pattern for out of hours breakdowns
