The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Surveyor to join the Technical and Project Services team at Roads and Maritime Services. In this role you will lead a Survey Party responsible for the delivery of surveying services to clients.

As an Engineering Surveyor you will be responsible for
  • Managing Surveying projects to agreed time, cost and quality requirements by leading a team to satisfy clients' business and program objectives.
  • Ensuring that all survey requirements of projects are considered and project outcomes are met by liaising with project teams, stakeholders, contractors and professional service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with Roads and Maritime Services regulatory and statutory requirements by adherence to the survey unit's quality management system.
We are looking for someone who can manage a large volume and variety of work, priorities, interests and deadlines, often required with very tight time-frames and can operate effectively under conditions of resource restraints while responding to “on demand” obligations that can impact on scheduled workload

The ideal candidate will have experience in the provision of surveying technical advice and management of technical risk in infrastructure projects. You will also have sound knowledge in modern technology and software related to surveying practices and procedures.

Remuneration package: RMS USS Grade 5 - 7 ($73,901 - $91,071), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
