Our new MCoE has been created to remotely yet collaboratively support our sites around the country to deliver safe, sustainable improvement focusing on our equipment performance.

You will be part of a contemporary, CBD based team, utilising innovative tools and technology to add real value and new approaches to maintenance as a profession – providing standards to guide our activity, services where there are benefits to centralisation and scale, and support to our people.

This role will be performed from our Centre of Excellence headquarter based in Brisbane, supported by the latest technology to engage with our sites around the Australia and the globe.

As the Manager Data Analysis and Analytics you are accountable to ensure analytics solutions are developed to help uncover value-added insights for a variety of business-wide decision-making processes. You will lead a team of data analyst, data scientist, data visualisation and systems dynamics and simulation team.

**Your key responsibilities will include:****• Actively lead the Data Analysis and Analytics team activities & contribute to the improvement / advancement of the team;

  • Build strong relationships with the business to ensure a true understanding of operational / functional areas for improvement;

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of projects data analysis and analytics;

  • Project Management for a variety of project of data mining, machine learning, predictive analytics, asset health, systems dynamics and dynamic simulation projects; and

  • Quality Control and Quality Assurance of the deliverables of the team.• Relevant tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics);

  • Postgraduate qualification in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning) highly regarded;

  • Proven experience in project management using agile methodologies or similar;

  • Proven experience in data mining, predictive analytics and asset health;

  • Experience in programming languages SPSS, Python, R;

  • Experience in working with analytical platforms like IBM DSX, Cloudera, AWB, etc;

  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing project pipelines; and
