|Position Title:||Contract Specialist|
|Tenure:||2 years, fixed term, full time|
|Salary Range:||$86,897 to $93,413 (G07)|
|Description:||As Contract Specialist, your primary focus in this role will be creating a suite of contract templates and a summary matrix that provides guidance to contract users, particularly in regards to capital works projects and procurement. You will also assist in advising users on contract specifications and compliance with University risk management programs and policies.
To be successful in this role, you must have significant previous contracts experience in either construction, facility management, or maintenance.
You can demonstrate your ability to draft and interpret contracts and have the ability to understand, manage, report and advise on contractual risk.
You can demonstrate knowledge of and extensive practical experience in procurement activity, including interpreting and administering asset development and infrastructure-related contracts with extensive practical experience in identifying and applying an appropriate compliance approach, compliance performance indicators and where required, compliance risk treatments for a diverse range of programs (i.e. safety, risk, contracts etc.).
You can review work practices that will ensure ethical decision-making and compliance with legislative, regulatory, policy and procedural requirements and have the ability to analyse and identify the service needs and expectations of a diverse customer base in order to translate creative ideas into practical business solutions.
