Due to an exciting growth and capability build phase, CMT is currently seeking market leading Solution Architecture talent to join our high performing team.

Our Technology Consulting Solution Architects define, design and drive solutions leveraging all of Accenture’s offerings, asset and capabilities, enabling them to lead the way throughout the digital transformational journey. This role is the lynch pin in many of our engagements tasked with conceiving the solution, testing it with the client, laying out the journey to achieve the desired outcomes and engaging with the various parts of Accenture to deliver on the value proposition. Through the delivery of the engagement, the Solution Architect will guide the solution and key decisions to ensure its success across multiple dimensions; Business, IT, Schedule, Cost and Integrity.

A Solution Architect is responsible for one or more Application and Integration Architectures within or across System of Engagements, System of Record or System of Insight portfolios enabling innovative digital services to the market giving our clients competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define the overarching thought leadership and direction of the Solution Architectures, that enable and release the maximum business value of Technology for our clients

  • Ensuring solutions align with the Roadmap and Blueprints for each impacted domain

  • Responsible for completing the Solution Briefs and Technology Points of View facilitating resolution to Key Architect Decisions

  • Building deep client relationships at senior levels and work with colleagues within Accenture Technology, Accenture Digital and the CMT practice to orchestrate these new technology solutions

  • Bringing targeted Accenture assets and offering to client situations, leveraging knowledge gathered through connecting with Accenture’s lines of business and inquiry into client pain points

  • Advance thought leadership within CMT on how we help our clients achieve their strategic business and tactical business goals using New IT, Cloud & Software platforms and emerging technology, such as AI

  • Being relevant, bringing our clients expertise and experience in industry practices and technology developments

  • Combining industry and technology relevance with strong delivery experience and capability specific to CMT

  • Engaging in the CMT community to foster a sense of collaboration and support to drive mutual professional growth.

Professional experience & qualifications

For Consultant level, 4+ years’ experience and for Manager level, 8+ years experience in a consulting environment, with specific exposure to some of the following areas:

  • Proven ability to shape and lead digital transformation in collaboration with our partners within and outside of Accenture

  • Knowledge and experience in delivering technology enabled change to an organsiation

  • An ability to identify opportunities for value creation based on this deep understanding of specific areas of New IT

  • A passion and commitment to New IT and a drive to influence the way these are evolving and delivered

  • Extensive Solution Definition and Portfolio rationalisation experience, with professional qualification a bonus. Including evident experience and knowledge of

    • System and Solution Architecture design (functional & technical),

    • Model Driven Architecture

    • Design Thinking with emphasis on Customer Journey Mapping and Service Blueprints

    • Application and Integration patterns

  • An ability to challenge a client's thinking by diplomatically providing an objective and independent point of view

  • Ability to effectively communicate the implications of complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences

  • Broad general technology understanding of Application Portfolio Management & Rationalisation

  • Ability to define architecture components and patterns for integration services

  • Understanding of respective architecture layers (business, information, application, technology)

  • Ability to depict the integration technology conceptually, logically and physically

  • Bachelor’s Degree is essential
