• Permanent Full Time - Grade 5
• Located at Mercy Hospital for Women
• Provide expert nursing consultation and liaison with Midwives, Nurses and other health care professionals in relation to patients presenting with a mental illness or behavioural disturbance
• Work closely with our already established Perinatal Mental Health Care service
• Support midwives and nurses to coordinate psychiatric nursing interventions in maternity and specialist wards
• Provide education for midwives and nurses in the psychiatric management of patients within the established Perinatal Mental Health Care guidelines

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 3 public Teaching Hospital in obstetrics & gynaecology, neonatology, anaesthetics and gynaecological oncology. We are a specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
