Our Client Monies team

The Client Monies Team is a national team providing trust accounting processing and analysis of all trust transactions for the Australian offices with team members reporting directly to the Client Monies Manager. The team assists with ensuring compliance of these transactions according to jurisdictional legislation and firm policies prior to completing the process in our practice management system. The team works closely with our property group who have high volume of trust transactions and with Financial Institutions for controlled money accounts.

Your role

Your responsibilities will be many and varied, and may change over time. Some key aspects to your role include:

  • review and manage completion of client monies request in Elite 3e by performing quality checks on data to ensure compliance
  • advise initiators on any areas that require intervention to comply with trust regulations and meet agreed SLAs
  • liaise with current financial institutions for the transactional information related to client monies request
  • liaise and develop relationships with various groups, internal and external
  • manage compliance to firm's delegated approvals and authorities within Elite 3e
  • generate monthly trust reports and completion of month reconciliations in accordance to legislation requirements
  • liaising with the firms external trust auditors in specific jurisdictions
  • assisting other team members as required
  • completing other tasks as directed by the Client Monies Manager

  • knowledge of Microsoft applications Word and Excel; and
