As a graduate, you’ll kick off your career with a technical/consulting training program in Seattle, followed by on the job coaching, skills development and ongoing Microsoft/technology certifications.
To ensure success, you’ll be provided with an onboarding buddy and a career adviser to support you in navigating the Avanade landscape, while helping you set and achieve your professional goals. You will be digitally connected to our global MVP’s and over 30,000 professionals to continuously learn from and leverage their expertise.
Day-to-day, you’ll work with global and locally big brand companies, on large enterprise projects across mobile and web while being surrounded by people that have a passion for delivering results. You will have the amazing opportunities to participate in innovation competitions, hackathons and development events globally.
Our Graduate Positions
In a client-facing technology consulting position, you’ll collaborate with our clients to deliver solutions within a project team as one of the following members:
- Software Engineer
- Infrastructure Consultant
- Business Analyst
- Experience Designer
- Analytics (Data Engineering)
- Data Scientist
What we are looking for:
You are a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or computer-related discipline with a passion for technology. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that challenges your critical thinking skills and ability to think on your feet. You’re team oriented in nature, with demonstrated leadership experience in an academic, extracurricular or professional setting.
Your technical and professional skillset likely includes:
- Project based work, internship or co-op environment experience, preferably with customer-facing responsibilities
- Functional knowledge of a development methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of software development and implementation lifecycle
- Ability to travel interstate, and potentially overseas for training.
