Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) is responsible for managing the Group’s relationships with major corporate and government clients and institutional investors, and provides a full range of capital raising, transactional and risk management products and services. The division also performs an important internal role for the Group by providing equities, markets, lending and transaction banking execution capabilities to other CBA business units that allows them to capture opportunities with business customers.

Marketsis a department of IB&M and is responsible for all of the Group’s activities in interest rate, bond, foreign exchange, credit, debt and commodity trading. This covers both physical and derivative markets; and Operational support function for Global Markets as well as other IB&M Departments.
The business is responsible for the Group’s engagement with clients in intermediation in financial markets, as well as the Group’s principal risk-taking activities in financial markets. The business is among the most ‘global’ in the Group with points of representation in all mainland states of Australia as well as New Zealand, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Beijing, London and New York.
Your impact & contribution:
The purpose of this role is to identify, support the sale of and fulfil Global Market Risk Management products and services to Business & Private Bank clients and business partners.
This primary focus of this position is to meet the Interest Risk Management needs of new and existing clients and business partners. This is achieved through the identification of client need using digital tools and close collaboration with key stakeholders, efficient fulfilment of solutions, product and process enhancement and ongoing effective account management
