BOQ Specialist is a market leader providing distinctive banking solutions to an elite client base of medical, dental and accounting professionals as well as High Net Worth individuals. The purpose of this role is to deliver on our distribution strategy through new client acquisition in the commercial product space. The role will be responsible for achieving individual sales and growth targets whilst providing exceptional customer service to our core client base.

As the Assistant Relationship Manager, you will enjoy promoting our Graduate & Student product offering to core clients, including meeting clients at their home and / or place of work to conduct interviews to determine their financial situation and objectives. You will enjoy discussing options for the client and developing tailored solutions, whilst consistently meeting your performance objectives, with a strong focus on book growth.
Specifically you will:
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing development of the POD client acquisition strategy, including Marketing strategy (client acquisition KPI)
- Partner with the Client Relationship Manager and Assistant Relationship Manager to develop ongoing and quality client relationships
- Manage relationships with clients leveraging and aligning internal resources to maximise client satisfaction and retention
- In conjunction with clients accountants, proactively work with clients to understand financial objectives and help implementing plans to realise these objectives
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and high expectations in a pressurised environment
You are distinguished from your peers due to your well-developed commercial acumen and graduate & student banking exposure. You have solid relationship management experience and expertise in business development and networking due to your well-honed negotiation & influencing skills.
Your sound knowledge of the medical finance market and competitors' products, combined with your ability to analyse complex financial statements and assist with the preparation of detailed credit submissions, and management of portfolio margin performance are highly regarded.
