This role reports to one of the Superintendents in the Supply, Contracts and Procurement Division of our Projects team and supports a small team with thorough administration-based deliverables. Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide general administration assistance to support the effective and efficient operation of the team and delivery of departmental KPIs.
  • Proactively and collaboratively work with the team to support contract management and sourcing activities, including:
    • System administration e.g. creation of master agreements, workflow variations, contract price changes, upload / download materials, project close outs etc.
    • Assistance with tendering activities e.g. tender pack development, receipt and distribution of tender documentation, tender evaluations and facilitation of tender clarifications etc.
    • Assistance with contract administration e.g.  contractor performance review preparation
    • Assistance in reporting requirements, GLD compliance checks, and other procedural requirements
    • Where relevant, lead sourcing, negotiation and contract execution for low value contracts (e.g. Forward Purchasing Letters)
    • Contract Management and supplier relationship management for low value contracts (e.g. Forward Purchasing Letters)
  • Ensure conformance with the BHP Billiton Charter, the BHP Billiton Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations.
