ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Administrative Officer in Emergency is responsible for the efficient operation of the administrative duties in the Emergency Department and the Short Stay Unit. This role requires being part of a 24 hour rotating roster and will comprise more afternoon, weekend and night shifts. You will provide support to other team members and actively participate in key activities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.

  • 2 Permanent Part-time positions available

  • 2 Fixed night shifts per fortnight on offer

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experience working in the health industry

  • Strong customer service focus and excellent conflict resolution skills

  • Experience with iPM and EDIS system desirable

  • Demonstrated administrative and, Microsoft Office skills.

  • A motivated and “can-do” attitude with the ability to learn quickly and go the extra mile

  • Maintain the confidentiality of information and always respect the right to privacy

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and utilise discretion,

  • To meet deadlines, prioritise and work as an efficient team member

  • Ability to work in line with the Mercy Values

Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing Western suburbs of Melbourne.
